This is Samantha Bronfman and she’s from Scottsdale, Arizona. Sam found GritCycle right after she moved to Costa Mesa —she wanted to find a new, challenging workout, and after her first class, she was totally hooked! Fitness has completely changed her life: it has given her a newfound sense of purpose, a loving relationship with her body, and a drive to challenge herself both mentally and physically. Before Sam got sober, she had no idea how to live a healthy lifestyle; however, fitness and sobriety have pushed her to be her best self both in and out of the Saddle Room. When she’s not teaching, you can catch her boxing, decorating cakes, or hanging with her French bulldog, Roxanne.
In the Saddle Room, Sam loves to incorporate all types of genres, including Rock, Hip Hop, EDM, and even singles from some of her favorite divas (especially Whitney Houston). Her favorite move of all time is the push up to tap back — this is the move that just makes you feel like the ultimate badass on the bike. Sam’s goal for her clients is self-growth. She hopes they walk out of her class feeling like they got a great workout in but mostly hopes that they walk out feeling strong, powerful, and capable of conquering their dreams. That is the gift she was given as a GritCycle client, and she strives to pay it forward as an instructor.
“For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it… I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald
