Danielle

Music Style

A powerful EDM push tap, a tear- eyed waltz, a reflective climb, a hip-hop hand hop. You are multifaceted, so too is your music.

"Do it scared."

Biography

In an attempt to figure herself out, Danielle moved from Boston to LA, to a ranch in Arizona, and eventually back to Southern California. She collected degrees in English and Education, taught high school, fell apart, got sober, rebuilt herself, found fitness that saved her life, and landed here at GritCycle with a Sport and Exercise Psychology Masters and a deep-rooted respect for riding a bike toward your potential. She is married to a man she found in the studio one day, and together they have a wild boy named Ridge. None of this came on the first try. It took a lot of failure and a lot of mess to figure out how to love herself and build a life worthy of the passion she feels.

Your discipline is your freedom. Danielle loves early mornings, no excuses, and matching outfits with her friends. She eats a salad from Jan’s Health Bar almost every day of her life. Routine, salads, and bikes keep her sober, and that’s the most important thing of all. When she’s not at GritCycle, she’s in the ocean, collecting books, writing drafts of her own, or spending time with her family.

Meet Your Motivator

Danielle wakes up at 3 am to build your playlist. It matters that much. She believes in choosing your hard, because it’s hard either way. Welcome to your daily practice. The obstacles and missteps are what make us. It took her a long time to be honest with herself and the life she wants to live, so now that she’s here, she’s not turning back. Tell your story, speak your truth, and allow people to misunderstand you. She loves to share her story and is obsessed with moving through fear—because really, it’s just a feeling, isn’t it? She’s going to write a book, start a podcast, and go on a motivational speaking tour someday. Stay tuned.
