Born and raised in Southern California, Alijah has been part of the GritCycle family since 2019. She started behind the front desk, grew into management, and continued to take on new roles throughout the company before eventually finding herself on the bike. She still remembers taking her first GritCycle class and feeling like her life had changed. She was hooked and knew she wanted to create that same feeling for others.
For Alijah, class is about so much more than 45 minutes on a bike. It’s a release. It’s getting out of your head and back into your body. She’ll push you, challenge you, and remind you that you can do hard things. That your voice matters. That you deserve to take up space. And that you’re allowed to be loud, passionate, emotional, powerful, messy, joyful, spicy. All of it.

Alijah’s been through things that could have made her smaller. Instead, they made her louder. She believes her purpose is to take everything she’s lived through and turn it into something that helps someone else find their voice, their strength, and their way back to themselves.
Alijah has built a life rooted in resilience, passion, and the belief that getting back up is where the real power begins.
She’s spicy. She’s loud. She’s passionate. She feels everything deeply and has never been very good at pretending not to care. And that’s exactly what she brings into the room. Alijah isn’t there to tell you who you should be. She’s there to remind you that you already know. You have a voice. You have a story. You have something inside of you that deserves to take up space. Her job is to turn the volume up on that. So when you walk into her class, expect energy. Expect honesty. But more than anything, expect to leave remembering just how powerful you are.
